This assistance was provided to 17 families of hostages from the Chernivtsi, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions affected by the Russian occupation. As well as 16 families of political prisoners, including those from the temporarily occupied Crimea. Their relatives were sentenced by the Russian Federation to long terms in falsified cases.

The Association is forced to inform you that this program of financial assistance for relatives of prisoners as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation has been suspended. We will be sure to inform you when the support resumes and the Association will be able to accept applications for it again

At least 150 Ukrainian citizens are political prisoners. More than 20 thousand civilian Ukrainians have been taken hostage by the terrorist country since February 24, 2022. Families - parents, wives, children - are fighting for their release, facing many problems that they have to solve on their own.

The Association is well aware of these problems. That is why we have introduced charitable financial assistance for relatives of political prisoners and civilian hostages who continue to be imprisoned. With the funds received, families can cover the cost of food, medicine, and housing.
