On Tuesday, March 26, a human rights club event was held by the Center for Civil Liberties on the topic "UN and OSCE: Reform or Disband?" After the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian diplomats and civil society have repeatedly criticized international organizations for excessive bureaucratization, detachment from reality, and lack of a clear position on events in Ukraine.

Why have the UN and OSCE lost their effectiveness, and are they hopeless? Can human rights activists become a driving force for change in the new architecture of international security? How can a mechanism be found to exclude Russia from international organizations, and is it possible at all? Answers to these questions were sought within the framework of the human rights club by human rights activists, representatives of international organizations, and international experts.

Among others, the discussions involved former Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin and Volodymyr Ogryzko, Member of Parliament and member of the parliamentary delegation to the PACE, Oleksii Honcharenko, as well as the head of programs at the International Renaissance Foundation, Roman Romanov.

We thank the Center for Civil Liberties for organizing this insightful event!
