Biography

Izet was born on October 22, 1986 in a family of workers in Toitepa city, Seredno-chyrchyk district, Tashkent region, Uzbekystan. Izet also has an older brother.

At the age of eight he went to the 1st class of secondary school №48 in Toitep. In 1994, together with his family, he moved to Crimea where he continued his studies at secondary school in the village of Chernove, Pervomaisk district. He graduated 11 classes.

In 2004, he entered the Simferopol Construction Vocational School, a year later he received a diploma in the specialty of gas and electric welder. He worked in the specialty.

Later, he got a job in a trade organization selling auto spare parts. At first, he worked as a loader, then he was appointed a warehouse manager. He was responsible, which earned him respect and trust of his colleagues. While working in this organization, Izet did not have the opportunity to attend Friday prayers in the mosque, so he quit.

After mastering the skills of construction, he worked in this field. Before his arrest, he was a seller of mobile phone accessories.

In 2015, he got married, has 2 minor daughters. Daughter Sofiia was born after the detention of her father.

Since 2016 Izet Abdullaiev began to take an active part in the public life of the people and organization of religious festive events. He often attended court hearings of politically motivated cases against his compatriots in Crimea.

Izet Abdullaiev was arrested on unfounded charges on March 27, 2019. On that day, the most massive raids in Crimea, followed by detentions, took place in the houses of Crimean Tatar Muslims in Kamianka and Strohanivka districts of Simferopol.

On May 12, 2022, the Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don sentenced Izet Abdullaiev to 12 years in a strict regime colony with the first 5 years in prison and restriction of liberty for 1 year after release.
