Biography

Medzhyt Enverovych Abliamitov was born on November 23, 1993 in the village of Zhuravky, Kirovskyi district. After completing 11 classes of secondary school, he entered a driving school and received a driver's license. Before his arrest, Medzhyt worked as a driver delivering dairy products.

Medzhyt has never been married, his parents are deceased. Medzhyt was a regular participant in public actions and rallies of the Crimean Tatars.

On August 19, the FSS detained Medzhyt Abliamitov on charges of "participation in the activities of an illegal armed formation operating on the territory of a foreign state for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation (Art. 208, part 2 of the RF Criminal Code)". The special services claimed that in 2016, the man moved to the mainland of Ukraine and joined the Noman Chelebidzhikhan Battalion, created by Lenur Isliamov.

On March 23, 2021, the Kirovskyi District Court found Crimean Tatar Medzhyt Abliamitov guilty of participating in the Noman Chelebidzhikhan volunteer battalion and sentenced him to 6 years in a strict regime colony and restriction of liberty for 1 year.
